SPRING/SUMMER 2027 SHOW
For the Spring/Summer 2027 collection, LEMAIRE harvests a world of eclectic things. A renewed sense of idealism runs through the season, with curiosity as the guiding instinct, informing an approach to style. The collection is shaped by a spirit of searching and gathering unexpected references, as individuality emerges through the freedom to explore, collect, and transform.
Playful contrasts of matte and sheen, structure and fluidity, appear throughout the collection. In menswear, prints of palm leaves, shimmering oceans, and changing skies evoke the vibrancy of the tropics, while smoky browns, walnut, chalk, sand, and oceanic blues anchor the collection. Transparency, achieved through nylon, cotton voile, and cotton mesh, enhances a sense of lightness and breathability.
Womenswear channels the openness and romanticism of the 1970s. Psychedelic motifs and decorative details animate a palette of organic colour. The French artist Claudine Wick’s dreamlike paintings of bodies, birds, flowers, and hands introduce a sensual and hypnotic dimension to the collection. Jewellery mimics the delicacy of a blade of grass, while hidden colour pops offer moments of surprise.
