PERSONAL WARDROBE
PERSONAL WARDROBE is a series of portraits that delve into lasting connections between individuals and LEMAIRE pieces.
Each video is an intimate vision of clothing expressed by vibrant personalities, close collaborators, regular customers, and artists faithful to LEMAIRE.
Hyeseon Jeong
Creative producer and communication consultant Hyeseon Jeong grew up in South Korea before moving to Paris 13 years ago. Filmed at home in the 20th arrondissement, she contemplates the value of everyday comforts – however simple, elemental, or profound.
From the salts and soy sauces that act to ground her in unfamiliar places to the practical satisfaction of hidden, ample pockets, Jeong muses: “The thing I look for in clothes is primarily comfort, and that can be physical as well as emotional comfort [...] It’s clothes that accompany you from morning to night.”
SIMON HOMES
Simon Homes is an independent fashion designer who co-founded the sustainable label SONO with his partner. In this portrait, filmed at his home in London, he shares his vision of clothing, and how he found his calling in design.
A previous LEMAIRE collaborator, he discusses garments that he contributed to the collections, which he knows down to the last detail and still wears today: “LEMAIRE is not about creating a spectacle. It is about building a world and a language where all the pieces have a connection.”

EMA PRADÈRE
The painter and ceramicist Ema Pradère has built up a wardrobe filled with LEMAIRE pieces that she has acquired over the years. In this video, she opens up about the effect of time on the clothes.
She draws a thread between her mending of a beloved jumper and the kintsugi technique, the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with gold, silver, or platinum: “The break is not concealed. It is quite the opposite. It’s a way of showing respect for the object. Embellishing the object is a way of expressing how important it is to us.”
