LASTING IMPRESSIONS
The photographs shown in the box-sized exhibition “A Box of Impressions” are available as collectible prints, each presented in a dedicated box, extending the project's intimate format.
Co-curated by Lou Stoppard and Sarah-Linh Tran, the exhibition draws inspiration from
the unique architecture and cultural heritage of the Palais Royal, exploring themes of daily observation,
ephemerality, and the intersections between public and private that are linked to the arcades.
The approach nods to Colette, who moved to the Palais Royal in 1938 and kept a journal
of the happenings and scenes she observed from her apartment.
Artists include Eleonora Agostini, David Campany, Teju Cole, Motoyuki Daifu, Moyra Davey,
Elein Fleiss, Naohiro Harada, Osma Harvilahti, Paul Kooiker, Justine Kurland,
Manon Lutanie, AiHeMei, Jeff Mermelstein, Marianne Mueller, Tod Papageorge, Helena Pokorny,
Lewis Ronald, Sage Sohier, Courtney Stephens, Hayahisa Tomiyasu, and Ana Vaz.
The prints are available at LEMAIRE Palais Royal,
56–62 Galerie de Montpensier, 75001 Paris.
